This year is the 50th anniversary of the publication of Does the Black Man Want the White Man's White Woman?" by Uriah J. Fields. This booklet, first published in 1966, is being reissued in 2016 to reflect on the past, evaluate the present and to imagine what the future portends for black-white sexual relations, in particular, and black-white relations in general in America.
Obviously, there have been changes since this booklet was first published. It is also obvious that much has remained the same. Not least are the attitudes of some Whites and Blacks toward each other. Today America has a black president, Barack Obama. Such was unthinkable when this booklet was published. Then was a time when the South denied the majority of Blacks the right to vote, when there was not a single black person from the South in the Congress. Let me add, I voted in Alabama 12 years before this booklet was published. It was not easy for me to register to vote. However, I was determined to vote and had the courage to not allow the barriers to prevent me from registering to vote. As a student attending the Alabama State College on the GI Bill and a young pastor in Montgomery I was able to take a risk that many Blacks could not afford to take.
In May of 1954, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in the Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas, that segregation in public schools was unconstitutional. Later that year, the political organization of U.S. Senator Harry F. Byrd, Sr., who controlled Virginia politics promoted the "Southern Manifesto," opposing school integration. In 1956 he called for Massive Resistance. Politicians of every Southern state joined in the Massive Resistance movement.
In 1963, Alabama Governor George Wallace stood in a doorway at the University of Alabama when black students Vivian Malone and James A. Hood showed up at the University of Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa to attend class.
In Prince Edward County, Virginia schools were closed for 5 years, 1959-1964 to avoid desegregation of the schools as had been ordered by the courts. Slowly the South complied with desegregation of schools. It was only after the 1968 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in "Green et al., v. County School Board of New Kent County, Virginia," overturned the Kent County, "freedom of choice" ban did large scale desegregation take place. The South gradually desegregated schools in the 1960s and 1970s. In Charlottesville, Virginia, it was not until the 1965-1966 school year that Jefferson School was desegregated.
On June 12, 1967, the U.S. Supreme Court vote unanimously overturned the conviction of Richard and Mildred Loving, a young white man and black woman from rural Caroline County, Virginia. They had been arrested, jailed and banished from the state of Virginia for 25 years for violating the states' Racial Integrity Act.
It was a year earlier that Does the Black Man Want the White Man's White Woman?" by Uriah J. Fields was published. I, the author, had left Alabama where I resided for nearly a decade, including the period of the Montgomery Bus Boycott which I helped to lead. Four days after Rosa Parks was arrested for having refused to give her bus seat to a white person eighteen black leaders, mostly ministers, organized the Montgomery Improvement Association (MIA) to give structure to the bus boycott. Martin Luther King, Jr., was elected president, I, Uriah J. Fields was elected secretary and E.D. Nixon was elected treasurer of the MIA. Ralph D. Abernathy who had suggested the name for the new organization was selected to chair a committee to draw-up resolutions and recommendations that would be presented later that evening to the people (more than 4,000) attending the first bus boycott mass meeting. Let me add, during the bus boycott the Bell Street Baptist Church where I was the pastor was one of four churches bombed by segregationists in their last die-hard attempt to prevent the desegregation of Montgomery buses during the wee hours of January 10, 1957. Taylor Branch, author of "Parting the Waters" writes, "Bell Street Baptist Church, suffered the most destruction on the night of the bombs." (p. 200). The church had to be rebuilt.
When I wrote Does the Black Man Want the White Man's White Woman" I was a resident of Los Angeles, California, far away from the segregated South. This booklet gained wide attraction. It was discussed in the media and I appeared on television programs, including the popular Joe Pyne Television Show.
Now, following the above "Foreword," after the prose poem below, I am reissuing Does the Black Man Want the White Man's White Woman'"? verbatim, i.e, word for word, without any subtraction or addition. Feast on the offering.

THIS WOULD NORMALLY be the place to say "I am not speaking of the vast majority of AmerIcans." But the vast majority of Americans (so-called Negroes and so-called white people) is precisely the subject of this realistic, provocative and hard-hitting expose. This is the conclusive findings of a careful investigation and analytic study of the mind of the Black Man with regard to his attitude toward and determination to have the White Man's White Woman.
BLACK INTEGRATIONISTS have dared to speak the truth regarding the Black Man's determination to sexually utilize the White Man's White Woman. Although the truth about the matter, normally in disguise, has been known for some time there has been a deliberate effort to prevent giving exposure to this fact and instead circulate the big lie: "...there is not now, never has been, and most likely never will be a popular effort on the part of Negroes to 'marry white,'" as presented in the August, 1965 special issue of EBONY Magazine.
SUPPORTING EVIDENCE disproving that hypothesis is accessible to everyone and no honest person needs to wonder, ponder or speculate about the Black Man's goal for the White Man's White Woman.
THIS CRITIQUE is a fearless attempt to expose the perpetual sexual rendezvous of the Black man and the White Woman by showing dramatically who the White Woman is and revealing clearly the workings of the Black Man in his endeavor to conquer the White Woman and, most important of all, what we need to know to assure survival of ourselves and our posterity.
I HAVE ENDEAVORED to avoid sensationalism and expressed no desire to appease enemies of the truth--mostly fendish hypocrites. My purpose has been to tell the truth--just as it is-- about, perhaps, the most emotional subject of our day, to friend and foe alike.
BECAUSE WORDS have different meanings for different people the author requests that the reader consult the '"Glossary" before embarking upon the story of the book. This will not make it easier to digest the content but will help considerably in giving a clear understanding of the subject matter. After centuries of brainwashing, administered in dosages of half-truths or less embodied in the big lie, it is going to be difficult for the ordinary person to swallow this pill ... but swallow it he must.

WHO IS THE WHITE MAN'S WOMAN?
Who is the White Man's White Woman? is the question about a segment of the human species that apparently more people seek an answer to than to the question asked by the Psalmist regarding the whole human race, "What is Man?"
"So he carried me away in the spirit out into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy ... and the woman was arrayed ... and upon her forehead was a name written MYSTERY. (Revelation17:3-5)
This scribe shared that unique experience recorded by John the Divine in the closing book of the Bible. While in the wilderness I saw a woman who sat upon a scarlet colored beast, spectacularly arrayed and very much a mystery. The wilderness is the world that I have known--a world saturated with conflicts, disappointments and reverses while at the same time illuminated with the light of hope which reminds oppressed people and their oppressors that a better world is possible. Actually, the Black Man of America is in the White Man's world and is literally a stranger or sojourner. This he knows. To him, at best the world is a wilderness and at worst a flaming hell.
The woman possessing such tremendous power as referred to in the cited Biblical quotation has to be the White Man's White Woman. No other woman in the Black Man's world of experience could accurately fit this description.
The scarlet colored beast upon which this woman sits is the so-called Negro (so-called Negro is emphasized because there is no such creature as a Negro. A person of German descent living in America is a German-American, and a person of African descent living in America is an African-American). The Black Man is not supposed to be by the White Woman or with her, and certainly not on her but under her, eternally. Even the White Man who owns the White Woman, as apparently he believes by divine right, is not to be over her in spite of the fact he is her overseer. This is easily the paradox of paradoxes. It is an undeniable fact that the so-called Negro in America is scarlet and frequently referred to as a beast in certain circles. The "Intercollegiate Standard Dictionary" defines scarlet as "any of several coal-tar colors, varying from yellow to brown." It is within this spectrum that more than eighty per cent of so-called Negroes fall. This intermixture is the result of over three hundred years of sexual assault made on black women by white slave masters and their wives' sons.
Th white slave-master who brought the black woman to his plantation house, presumably to cook chocolate pies soon made the fascinating discovery that she had something sweeter than chocolate pies. The result is increditable-millions of scarlet humans. A case in point is that of my Grandfather who was sexually assaulted by the Grandson of America's greatest Franklin. Consequently, all her children and their children's children are scarlet colors - some yellow, some brown and the rest between yellow and brown.
It is no wonder that in the Biblical reference MYSTERY is spelled with all capital letters. The White Man's White Woman has been man's most unfathomable human mystery. In this connection she is either divine or shares uniquely with the Divine.
In attempting to analyze this MYSTERY we ascertain a rare knowledge as to who the White Man's White Woman really is. Three suppositions reveal who she is.
1. The White Man's White Woman is a Myth
The White Man's White Woman is a social myth which is not nearly as old as the White Man. The myth was instituted by the White Man during slavery in America, institutionalized during the Black Reconstruction which followed the Civil War and has been propagated to the present, almost unabated and with minor obstruction.
The White Man created the myth for the purpose of keeping the Black Man and his White Women socially separated. Following 1863, when the Black Man was emancipated, the White Man accepted the theoretical fact that the Black Man was free to do whatever the the White Man did, including going to the bedroom of the daughter of the White Man's White Woman, not necessarily his daughter who may have very well been a mulatto. In order to offset any such relationship the White Man launched an indoctrination program which had the single objective of glorifying, if not deifying, his White Woman. The set goal was to raise the White Woman from the human level to a divine plane, so that she would appear to be a little lower than the angels, if not their equal. This would make her beyond the Black Man's reach and put her out of his milieu. The White Woman and the Black Man were the objects of this brainwashing. Simultaneously the Black Woman and the White Man were sufficiently brainwashed to assure the perpetuation of the doctrine.
Even while the White Man proclaims his White Woman goddess he continues to abuse her, ostracise her, desert her children and prescribe for her an inferior role which has no semblance of equality with himself. This is seen clearly in the fact that the White Man's White Woman was politically disfranchised in America until 1919. So outrageous and inhumane was this brainwashing that it dehumanized, to a great degree, the Black Man and the White Woman. Consequently, the Black Man and the White Woman are less human than their counterparts. The White Man's White Woman was not so much as to even entertain the idea of intimate communion with the Black Man, and if by ignorance or stupidity the Black Man should have any such idea there were tall trees which made good hanging posts and lynching grounds that would lay still both his imagination and person.
One thing about the myth that has been a greater tragedy than the Black Man believing it is the White Woman also believes it. She believes that she is that she is not, which is worse than someone else believing that she is what she is not.
The changing status of the African-American is having a revolutionary effect upon the myth. The contemporary African-American, better educated than his parents, demanding, semi-independent and a constant threat to the status quo with the help of the White Man's White Woman who has gained a new status mainly because of World War II which made her an earner, have begun demytholization of the myth. The beauty of this for the White Woman is that once this demytholize action is achieved she will for the first time in many centuries come to know who she really is, and the probability is great that with this intelligence she will no longer be the White Man's White Woman and not, as an alternative the Black Man's Woman, but a liberated woman.
2. The White Man's White Woman is a Misnomer
The assertion that the White Man's White Woman is a misnomer is more than mere semantics; it is a fact. In the first place, there is no such creature or visible phenomenon as the White Man's White Woman. Actually the so-called White person does not resemble anything that we designate as white, such as sugar, salt or snow. There are many other names or colors that could be more accurately applied to the White Man and his woman. At least gray is more nearly correct, if there must be a color designation.
Secondly, the misnaming of the White Man's White Woman is a misnomer because his woman does not measure up to or correspond with purity, chastity, fidelity and majesty which are characteristic of white idealism. This imperfection is also true of the Black Woman who, of course, is not expected to be perfect or classified as deity.
3. The White Man's White Woman is a Monstrosity
In the thought-world and sometimes in the live-a-day world the White Man's White Woman is almost omnipotent. Humanly speaking she has nearly all power. Of course the truth is the White Man's White Woman is not a monstrosity but a midget or paper tiger who is easily the least free person in America. She has been robbed of the individual's chief right--the right to think. Yet she believes that she is a monstrosity because true knowledge of herself has been almost non-existent for nearly four centuries. During that period she has been the victim of a bombardment of half-truths and big lies that have made her a megalomania, having a fantastic delusion of her grandeur. The only power she possesses is that exhibited through the White Man who acts for her.

What makes a woman the White Man's White Woman?
Not will of Creator, not nationality bestowed by His hand,
Not land of birth, nor predestination,
That has bequeathed to some citizenship in such a nation:
Nor ivory schools, nor sophisticated clan,
Nor laws that govern the mind of woman ...
For these have liberated thousands in every generation,
Who came under the tremendous influence of this collection;
And they have proved in every land,
That a woman need not be the White Man's White Woman,
But they are few indeed among the Westernized,
Who are eager to admit that they are civilized,
And the White Man's White Woman privileged by number,
Continues in her pride, with no desire to be humble,
One thing alone, conditions this prolific human
And makes her the White Man's White Woman;
One thing alone, provides the real key
As to what makes her the woman she should not be;
That woman, then, is the White Man's White Woman,
Who believes in white supremacy, in this or any land;
Who is directed by the White Man's chastening rod,
Who has not self-knowledge or favor with God!

THE WHITE MAN'S WHITE WOMAN
Now, that we have seen who the White Man's White Woman is, or could it be, who she is not, the question that logically follows is: "Does the Black Man want That? The answer is positively "Yes!" Who wouldn't want to have a rendezvous with that goddess?
The Black Man finds himself in a world where the White Man's standards and values are all that matter. The Black Man having been placed in slavery by the White Man and forced to abandon his own social heritage--including relinquishing his name--and take up the White Man's heritage in a white world that rejected him has an intense sense of inferiority. Out of this feeling of insecurity a frustration precipitated by the Emancipation and magnified by the damaging integration ideology which equates white with good and black with bad, the Black Man is determined to have, at all cost, the White Man's best...his White Woman.
In the White Man's world, which the American Black Man is in but not of, black symbolizes weakness and is demoralizing. Traditionally, Americans have been taught that if a black cat came across their paths they would have bad luck. The perpetual indoctrination program holds that the "black sheep" is the sheep that is gone astray; a "black hour" is a period of trouble; to be "blackballed" is to be denied entrance or thrown out if you are already in; to be put on the "blacklist" is to be placed under surveillance.
On the contrary, the "white lie" is almost divine while the "black lie" is the vilest form of prevarication. The Capitol of America is called the White House and when a man taking an eschatological leap arrives in Heaven, according to the "pie-in-the-sky" songs which are accepted as doctrinally and theologically sound, he will wear a long white robe. Allow me to be preposterous enough to say, I would like to make two astounding recommendations: (1) to the Congress and the President--that the White House be painted black and white and named the Black-White House, and (2) to St. Peter or the Personality in charge of Heaven--that no one be permitted to wear a white robe in Heaven.
Although the separation theory promulgated by the Black Muslims and the segregation theory applied by the Ku Klux Klan have contributed greatly in leading the Black Man to attempt sexual assaults on the White Man's White Woman, it is the integration movement promoted by the NAACP and similar oriented organizations that is doing most in assisting the Black Man in his pursuit to get the White Man's Woman. The integrationist believes that for anything to be of value it has to be associated with white. Therefore, if a school consists of all black students and teachers the integrationist judges it to be inferior. This, of course, is absurdity, barbarity and insanity which can lead to nothing less than and atrocity.
Such indoctrination, however, has motivated the Black Man to go after the White Man's White Woman. The White Man's shouts and screams of miscegenation, amalgamation of the races, mongrelization of the races and race-mixing only tend to infuriate the Black Man and urges him to increase his determination to have the White Man's White Woman.
There are at least five outstanding reasons why the Black Man wants the White Man's White Woman.
1. Because the Black Man has accepted the White Man's value judgement that black denotes inferiority and white superiority. White is right, and the Black Man wants to be right after being wrong so long.
2. Revenge is another reason. Evidence glaringly displayed in the mulatto are almost everywhere. This reveals that the White Man has had many field days and moments of jubilation in the intimate confines of the Black Woman's privacy. Some so-called Negroes are actually bitter about this, and having hearts filled with rancor they are determined to use their brushes of flesh to paint the unborn children of this generation and generations to come a hue that will reflect their own pigmentation. Coupled with this is the historical fact, a sad commentary indeed, which reveals that thousands of black men have been lynched for having demonstrated a sexual interest in the White Man's White Woman. Some were made examples to remind other Black men of the price they must pay if caught exercising the slightest sexual interest in the White Man's White Woman.
3. The White Man's White Woman has been pictured as a goddess fit only for Paradise. Therefore the Black Man desiring a little bit of heaven on earth is seizing what appears to be opportunity of a lifetime. "O that I could have this little white angel to caress and to torture," is the constant yearning off the Black Man.
4. The Black Man has a desire for new experience and a fascination for novelty. In the mind of the Black Man the White Man's White Woman is intriguing to his sexual curiosity. The White Woman having been sheltered by her counterpart and owner has not been able to associate with the Black Man as a human being who could be accepted as her equal. For the most part sexual activities involving the White Woman and the Black Man, which have been numerous, have been performed promiscuously and disgracefully rather than decently and gracefully. Authentic records reveal that chauffeurs, butlers, handy men and other servants or employees had many sexual encounters with their white employers - White Women in secret chambers and under, sometimes, extraordinary circumstances.
5. The Black Man has been told that under no circumstance is he to have the White Man's White Woman. In a time such as the present when the spirit of rebellion, defiance and free choice are the rule rather than the exception the Black Man will not stand for the White Man to tell him what he can or cannot have. And that he is told is forbidden fruit captivates and allures him all the more.
Yes, the Black Man wants the White Man's White Woman. He has a miscegenation paranoia. He wants sexual conglomeration with the White Woman. He wants to marry her or live in a common-law relationship with her, or have her as his concubine or prostitute. Currently, the Black Man-White Woman prostitution business is booming as never before. It seems clear that those who have sown to the winds by sexually assaulting the Black Woman are destined to reap the whirlwind as sexualization of the nation becomes a reality with the Black Man and White Woman making a greater contribution toward this accomplishment than their counterparts.
It would be unfair if I did not say the White Man's White Woman also wants the Black Man. She has wanted him for a long time, and in spite of her bondage she has commingled with the Black Man and at times screamed "rape" when caught in closed communion. Now, with her new-gained freedom, outweighed only by greater freedom of the contemporary Black Man and enhanced by a waning freedom or shrinking power of her owner, she is in pursuit of the Black Man. Of course it always did take two to do the tango. A common myth has it that a White Woman who mates with a Black Man will never be satisfied with a White Man again. This myth disturbs the White Man and today nineteen states have laws prohibiting marriage between the Black Man and the White Woman.
The White Man also wants the Black Woman and the truth of the matter is the White Man-Black Woman for the most part, promiscuous involvement has been until recently far greater than the Black Man-White Woman involvement, although less honorable. In this regard, the White Man is what he has always been--a great pretender. He wants the Black Woman but pretends he does not. He wants her on a hide-away basis, in the secret chambers and not in a legitimate and decent relationship. The Black Woman who has more integrity than the White Man, Black Man or White Woman and more freedom than the Black Man and White Woman, with all things being equal, has nothing against decent sexual involvement with the White Man but she is too smart and honorable to be demoralized by a two-faced hypocrite. The Black Woman knows that the White Man wants to throw stones and hide his hands or sew wild oats that will reproduce a harvest of incorruption for someone else to reap.
In this whole matter of human association or assimilation the law: "likes repel and unlikes attract," will do more to shape the future course of history than the frequently quoted axiom "birds of the same feather flock together." The more we magnify or bewail dissimilarities to people the greater will be the attraction for the person who is more different from oneself.
OPERATING ON THE HYPOTHESIS "the Black Man wants the White Man's White Woman" and in light of the forgoing presentation certain logical conclusions can be readily drawn.
1. That the rapidity with which the Black Man succeeds in involving himself in sexual conglomeration with the White Man's White Woman--marriage, concubinage, prostitution--is contingent on the integration movement and the liberation of the White Woman. As these go, so goes Black Man-White Woman mongrelizeing sexualization of America.
2. That the Black Man does not merely want to legally marry the White Man's White Woman, although he wants that, but to also have her as his concubine, common-law wife or prostitute.
3. That Black women, of whom 20 percent of all the married ones are presently divorced or separated from their Black husbands compared with about 10 percent for White women, have no objection to Black men having white wives, and would themselves accept white husbands if White men would cease pretending and be in the light and in public what they are in the dark and in the hide-away chambers.
4. That if and when the Black Man succeeds in having the White Man's White Woman he will find himself in a predicament comparable to that of the typical White Man--not knowing what to do with this woman whose power is increasing daily as this world becomes more and more a woman's world.
ADMITTEDLY THERE IS A PLACE for the Black Man-White Woman or White Man-Black Woman intimacy, both from the view point of nature and survival. I do not say it is the highest place or noblest relationship. However, taking imperfect and depraved human beings as people are, it is a legitimate place and the right to so venture should be guaranteed for each individual. This is true even when one takes into consideration the many damaging consequences derived from some of these relationships.
Not every person is called to courageous race-purity and those who think they are pure may be lacking in self-knowledge. People will continue to be attracted to those unlike themselves, and will some time, for reasons too numerous to mention, share in the most intimate involvement that can possibly involve man and woman. Cognizant of this fact honorable men and women of any race--the human race---must work to destroy practices of racial separation, racial segregation and racial integration, all of which are detrimental to the cause of individual freedom, and promote through education and wholesome living "Mutuality" which can resolve the race conflict without the elimination of any race.
* GLOSSARY *
BLACK MAN is a male member of the genus Homo who believes as the result of centuries of enslavement and brainwashing that he is a so-called Negro. This is not based on self-knowledge but the judgment of the White Man who for nearly three centuries was his owner and master. The color of the Black Man's skin does not determine if he is a so-called Negro. He may be any color from ivory white to tar black. Negro is a name given the Black Man by the White Man. Although the term is derogatory when applied to Black people its chief weakness lies in the fact that it is a misnomer. The so-called Negro's proper designation is African American.
BLACK WOMAN is a female member of the genus Homo who believes that she is a so-called Negro and who has been given a greater measure of freedom than the Black man, chiefly because she was not a threat to the White Woman and some time a treat to the White Man, although ironically without competing with the White Woman for her man's affection. She may be referred to as a "negress" by so-called white people but has never applied the term, which she resents, to herself.
MUTUALITY is positive, and interpersonal relationship, an uncoercive way of life, motivated by the divinity within man, propelled by the apparatus of self-respect, abetted by the need of the individual and society powered by individual responsibility and directed by the loving personage of Creator, who has not endowed man with the power of fear but of love. It is not propositional but a relationship based on understanding, respect, altruism and acceptance, essentially conciliatory in nature and empathetic in concern. In Mutuality free choice--freedom of individual--is the paramount consideration. Consequently, the right of the person to freely choose his associates and the manner of association are not abridged. Although through Mutuality the race conflict can be resolved, the emphasis is not on race or group but the individual. In Mutuality recognition is given to only one race--the human race. The net effect of Mutuality which the individual experiences in his actual rendezvous with destiny through understanding himself and his relationship to others and his Ultimate is happiness for himself and a better world for all.
SEXUAL CONGLOMERATION is a term used to include a multiplicity of sex experiences that are practiced simultaneously in a given environment such as marriage, concubinage, common-law marriage, prostitution and sex perversion. While sexual conglomeration may take place with a single ethnic group whenever more than one ethnic group are involved such constitutes a bigger concoction and a despicable mess; also the aggregate results of such application.
SEXUALIZATION is the act or process by which a nation or population composed of different ethnic groupings participate in inter-ethnic sex on a gross scale in a personal or impersonal involvement for the expressed purpose of achieving ends that are not naturally inherent in or fundamentally derived from sexual relations.
WHITE MAN is a male member of the genus Homo, especially in America, who belongs to the so-called white race and who believes as a result of auto-brainwashing, indoctrination and race prejudice that he is superior to members of any other race. He has created and perpetuated a value standard which is uniquely the White Man's. The vast majority of males generally referred to as white men are megalomania, rambunctious, belligerent and hypocritical.
WHITE WOMAN is a female member of the genus Homo, belonging to the caucasian race and believes, as a result of centuries of brainwashing that she is superior to a member of any other race. She does not feel free to disobey the so-called White Man. She accepts the White Man's value judgment of herself as revealed by her public conduct and the manner in which she plays the White Woman's role that has been assigned to her by the White Man. The vast majority of so-called white females in America can be accurately classified as the White Man's White Woman.

URIAH J. FIELDS, president of the American Christian Freedom Society, exponent of Mutuality and Chaplain of the Los Angeles Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance. He holds three degrees, including a degree in Theology, the California Teaching Credential in Secondary Education, is a summer school graduate of the School of Alcohol and Narcotic Education, University of Saskatchewan in Canada, and spent four years in the United States Army. He was a founder and first secretary of the Montgomery Improvement Association which provided leadership for the Montgomery Bus Boycott, from which he resigned in mid-1956. He was pastor of the Bell Street Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama for nearly seven years. During the boycott this church was bombed and rebuilt under his leadership. Mr. Fields is author of "The Montgomery Story," "What Love Is and What Love Does" and "The Anatomy of Mutuality."
